| "Turn" is a song that was
mainly influenced by Julie Cruise's album Floating. Most of you have
heard at least one song from that album, as Julie Cruise is the
artist that performed all Twin Peeks music (come on - Twin Peaks the
TV series!).
Picture this song being performed at a smoky night club on a
stage dressed in red and where the audience don't really give a
damn. I would like to think the musicians play for the sake of the
music but one could say they play for the 50 bucks they are given.
Maybe they had a few drinks too many, maybe a few too few.
Anyhow, this song was one of the first songs written for "The
much needed Second Cold War". It was later degraded to the B-side to
our upcoming single "The minister is Dead" and now it reached rock
bottom landing on the web album. But it is a good tune and I really
like it. It's just a misunderstood outcast that does not fit in with
the rest of our music. |
