”Ahead of us” was actually a song that was made during the making of ”Delay and Depression”. It was made late in the project and It didn’t cut that album do to lack of time. Therefore, it was natural to start up ”The Much Needed Second Cold War” process with this song. After some time, however, we thought we had evolved to a point beyond featuring a leftover from “Delay and Depression” on our new album, and the song was degraded to the B-site of or upcoming single “Disease”. Now it is further degraded and we better release if quickly before it is degraded into nothing. Maybe we are just tired of the song, sometimes I think it is actually good and sometimes it sickens me.
