Role in Marina Siertis

Martin F is the bands lead guitarist. Concerning programming he often has the last work on the drums and usually picks up on the small details in the arrangement of other instruments. Since Martin F joined the band there has been a strive to clean up the soundscape, largely by account of him.

Musical background

I was from the very beginning sourrounded by music. It has always been a central point in my family. I've been raised with "perfect" music, such as Toto, Chicago, Tower Of Power, Level 42, Alan Parsons Project etc. Music that is perfect in the sence that there are no mistakes done. Niether on record nor live. I think this is where I have got my sence of detail from, even though I'm not "perfect" myself.

There are always some things that you remember more than other. One of those are the endless amounts of school day afternoons when I and my best friend at the time went to his place to listen to Kiss or perheaps Twisted Sisters on vinyl. Another is when I first found the old Ebba Grön (swedish punk) record "Kärlek&Uppror". It surely changed me forever.

Musical influences

I don't think you can listen to any music without getting influenced by it. But there are ofcourse some artists/band that means more to me than other, so I'll just list a few of them: Thåström, AC/DC, Nationalteatern, RATM, One Minute Silence, Deaftones, Tool...
